On Friday, January 19th, Shelter House will be hosting its 4th annual Hunger Luncheon. This year, in partnership with the University of Iowa Human Rights Week 2007 and the Unitarian Universalist Society of Iowa City, we invite you to participate in the Hunger Challenge. Hunger effects how people perform at work, how children perform in school and how people view their communities and their lives. The Hunger Challenge asks you to fast for 12 hours prior to attending (and eating at) the Hunger Luncheon. Please see the following event details. All are encouraged to attend the Hunger Luncheon and participate in the Hunger Challenge.
