Visit by Colombian Peace Activist Luis Murillo On Monday evening October 9th at 6:30pm, the Sal y Luz group invites you to a light supper and time to meet and visit with John Hildebrand, Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN and Luis Murillo, Senior Policy Analyst for Lutheran World Relief and the Latin America Working Group in Baltimore, MD and Washington D.C. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Iowa City,

Luis is well-known as an advocate for peace with justice in U.S.
aid and policy not only in Colombia, but around the world. He will
talk about his work and LWR's efforts to build peace in Colombia
through local projects backed by education and advocacy. John
recently returned from the LWR Delegation to visit our partner
Peace Sanctuary Churches in Colombia and will share a few
pictures with us. We'll have good soup, bread and fruit shakes.
Bring a dish to share if you'd like or just bring yourselves. There
will be a few table activities for the children as well. More info
