State Capitol in Des Moines
    Join the coalition, including Iowa Safe Schools, OneIowa,
    The Interfaith Alliance of Iowa, PlannedParenthood of
    Greater Iowa, and the Iowa Civil RightsCommission, to
    convince our elected officials that weneed to ban
    discrimination against lesbian, gay,bisexual, and
    transgender Iowans! ??

    Everyone?s help is needed?gays,lesbians, andstraight
    allies, parents, grandparents,educators,employers,
    people of faith, concernedcitizens, and allthose
    interested in creating communitiesfree from
    discrimination?to talk to Iowa legislators. ?

    Never lobbied before? ?No worries, we will have plentyof
    experienced volunteers to help you out. ?Your storiesand
    experiences are critical in convincing ourLegislature to
    ban discrimination against LGBTIowans. ?Can?t make the
    whole day? No problem. ?Oneor two hours or anytime
    you have to talk to legislatorswill truly make a
    difference! ?Check in between 8:30-9 a.m. at the Iowa
    State Capitol. Meet at the table insidethe southentrance.
