?Why hasn?t there been more
progress toward realizing social
justice and peace in our world??
was founded to provide a moral foundation, support and
sanctuary for those who seek social justice and to assist in
bringing focus and greater effectiveness for social justice
movements and initiatives.

We help each other by learning together the principles of
moral courage while understanding and responding to the
call for social justice.

We do this by providing a curriculum of moral teachers such
as Gandhi, Mary Harris "Mother Jones," Harriet Tubman, ?
Frederick Douglass, Cesar Chavez, Chief Joseph of the Nez
Perce and others who advocated social justice through
non-violence.

We offer courses in the history of social justice movements,
organizing skills, and resources for effecting change.

Our purpose is to inspire and sustain service and action. ?

We are dedicated to those who have a sincere dedication to
social justice and are committed to service and action.

We participate in change collectively and individually,
regardless of material or professional gain, and encourage
others to do the same.

We believe in sacrifice for change, that giving is for the sake
of giving, that people are more important than profit or
property or social status, and that we can and will create a
better world.
