Immigrant Concerns Group
The February Immigrant Concerns Group meeting will be Wednesday,
February 14, 2007, from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm in the meeting room (Scotus Hall)
of Immaculate Conception Church 857 3rd Avenue SE in Cedar Rapids.
The topic for the meeting will be the Naturalization Process and the upcoming
changes that are going to be made in the test and in the fees for the
application. ?
Representatives from offices and agencies in our community who provide
assistance with paperwork for immigration will be on hand to describe what
they do so that we can refer applicants to the appropriate place for the type
of help they need.
We hope to make applicants aware that the naturalization forms and the
process are under greater scrutiny now than ever before.
The test format will soon change and the cost of the application will increase. ?
Please join us for this important and informative meeting. You are welcome to
invite others who might find this information useful. This will be a brown bag
lunch meeting.
